Your most common inquiries, answered with precision.
What is the difference between Bespoke and Made-to-Measure?
“Bespoke is the pinnacle of tailoring. While Made-to-Measure uses a pre-existing base pattern, a Bespoke garment is created from a unique paper pattern drafted from scratch based on over 30 of your specific measurements. It involves multiple fittings and hundreds of hours of hand-stitching.”
“A true Bespoke masterpiece typically requires 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the complexity and the chosen fabric. For those with urgent needs, we offer an expedited service for premium alterations and select custom commissions.”
Do I need an appointment for a fitting?
“To ensure the dedicated attention of our Master Tailors, we highly recommend scheduling an appointment. However, we do accommodate walk-ins at our 174 5th Avenue atelier for urgent alterations and initial consultations.”
“Absolutely. We specialize in high-end alterations for all luxury brands. Whether it’s a vintage heirloom or a recent designer purchase, we apply the same master-level precision to ensure it fits you perfectly.”
Do you offer "In-Office" or "At-Home" consultations?
“Yes. We understand that time is the ultimate luxury in New York. We offer private consultations at your office or residence across Manhattan, including TriBeCa, the Upper East Side, and Hudson Yards.”
“We source exclusively from the world’s most prestigious mills, including Loro Piana, Vitale Barberis Canonico, Scabal, and Dormeuil. We offer a curated selection of over 3,000 fine wools, silks, and cashmeres.”
